The Village Hall was converted from its former use as a school in 1984 by the District Council and was formally opened in October of that year. It is run by a Management Committee of representatives of village organisations, parish councillors and parishoners.

The Hall has a full range of regular activity including a Playgroup, Karate, Dance Club, Social Services and Flower Club/Guild. Other organisations such as the Beavers/Cubs/Scouts and Weightwatchers are also regular users of the main hall and kitchen facilities.  

The Village Hall also hosts coffee mornings and is available for hire for parties and social functions. For further information or to make a booking please use the contact details listed above.

The Edwinstowe Art Group "Painting for Pleasure" are holding an Art and Photographic exhibition in the Village Hall from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on the 5th June 2010. The groups paintings will be on display together with photographs by local photographer John Smith whose subjects are "Wildlife, People and Places". FREE ADMISSION.
 
Also the groups paintings will be on display in the Spotlight Gallery in Newark Town Hall from the 30th June 2010 to the 31st July 2010 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday to Saturday.
