1940's Weekend. 18th and 19th September, 11am - 4:30pm
Rufford Abbey Country Park
'On the home front 1939 - 45'

This spectacular weekend gives you the chance to experience the sights, sounds, emotions and humour of wartime Britain, with plenty for all the family to enjoy.

Military vehicles will be on show along with field kitchens, drill demonstrations and artillery firing.

Meet period characters such as Churchill and bomb disposal experts.

You will even have the opportunity to purchase your own piece of history and buy period goods.
