SUMMER STREET ENTERTAINMENT
Published:Wednesday 9 June 2010 Between Saturday 5th June and Saturday 11th September, Newark and Sherwood District Council has organised for a range of street entertainment to take place in the market towns of Newark, Southwell and Ollerton. Performers include magicians, puppet theatres, clowns, a samba band, musicians, a one man band and even a fire juggling unicyclist! Newark Blues Festival will also be performing on Saturday 28th August, 4th and 11th September. Street entertainers will also be performing on Wednesdays during the summer school holidays in Newark. Entertainment will run from Wednesday 21st July until Wednesday 1st September. For full details, visit the street entertainment section of the website.
