HAVE YOUR SAY ON LICENSING POLICY
Published:Friday 9 July 2010The public has the opportunity to comment on a council’s policy which is used to help decide whether alcohol and entertainments licences are granted. Newark and Sherwood District Council’s Draft Statement of Licensing Policy, under the Licensing Act 2003, is revised every three years and is readopted following a period of consultation. The consultation period begins on July 9 and runs through until October 1. The draft policy, which has been shortened and takes into account various changes to the law, is also available from Kelham Hall on request, as well as at Newark, Southwell and Ollerton and Boughton town councils’ offices. Copies will also be sent to Newark, Southwell and Ollerton libraries.
